iPad 2 / iPhone Music Studio Jam – MusicBox – BabyHands ( SoundPrism / Bebot App)

Deep in the bowels of Lydian Studios, an mysterious humanoid with baby hands explores his musical virtuosity on the iPad 2…
…Aaron came up with this arrangement when playing with the lovely SoundPrism app. We recorded the performance you see to a basic drum loop, then Todd worked on some more detailed drum production afterwards. All of the synth material is straight out of the iPad with no editing, and check out the iPhone Bebot solo for extra comedy

Bravo Crazy home recording studio setup – part 2
I just added studio foam to all the wall. I used bed foam instead of real studio foam because it was cheaper. $30 and I covered my entire room, I used spray adhesive to get it up. Also added a Seagate GoFlex external drive.

The following Information is from the books “The Beatles Recording Sessions” by Mark Lewisohn; and “Recording the Beatles” by Brian Kehew and Kevin Ryan.
This song was recorded in February 1967 using two 4-track machines. After recording tracks onto the first tape machine, the recording was then “bounced”.
Bouncing refers to when a second tape machine was used to combine tracks from the first machine; which freed up one or more tracks to add additional instruments. In those days, this technique was used to overcome a limitation of 4-track recording equipment. Nowadays, modern multi-track and digital recording studios make such efforts unnecessary.
“Recorder (B)” — the bounce tape — is what we hear here.
