    Get the Cow’s milk …
Get the Cow’s milk (Organic) before it reaches in the market, fresh from the farm, and butter can be made easily, take half a liter milk pour it in the blender crush few ice cubes add put them in the blender along with salt to taste and blend, repeatedly, and every time you stop you’ll see the butter floating on the surface, collect it and run the blender again, until the milk taste sour and become thin. That’s the best way to get the ” 100% PURE” butter. I get my butter, at home, This way

Thanks a lot for shearing healthy ways to adapt our city live style to good, healthy life style.
This butter tastes great, no preserves, added casein, etc.
I made HM butter for 10yrs and, changed my eating habits back to “grandmas home cooking style.
I also purchase Organic grains from the farmer to make homemade flour, bread, pasta, cakes, lasagna, etc.
Technology helped save time & money to take back in our hands the really needed control of our deteriorated health.

    You are going to …
You are going to have a lot of fun with it.

Now don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure all of the lactose stays with the buttermilk and all you have left in the butter is the fat. If I’m correct then complete rinsing is going to be important to you. Don’t stop until the water is clear.

I’m just guessing though. Maybe a scientist will confirm it.

    cool! i just …
cool! i just ordered my 1st kitchenaid artisan mixer off ebay. i’m getting it tomarrow and this is one of the first things i’m going to try and make. my husband will think it’s neat and hopefully will realize i can do alot of things with this mixer and that i wasn’t just wasting money lol. now i’ll be really impressed if you could make a vegan butter – i’m lactose intolerant just a bit and cream really does a number on me.

I have the Ice Cream Freezer. It is great. I wrote an Instructable and even filmed it making ice cream but it needs to be edited as it takes 20 minutes. I need to find a free program that can fast forward part of the video. Any ideas?

    @focusonthegreen I …
@focusonthegreen I don’t think it needs additives to be stiff. This is very stiff. It is pure butter fat.

If you look at the Instructable linked from the description you can see photos of it when I molded it into little ducks.

  • focusonthegreen says:

    Great video! How …
Great video! How much does the butter harden when you refrigerate it? If I remember correctly store bought butter has some additives that make it harder and hold it’s shape. Wasn’t sure how homemade does when cold.

I do use one normally. I just left it off for the filming so you could watch what was happening.

Hey just an idea, why don’t you get a splatter cap. I think it’ll fit, pretty sure there aren’t any modifications that’ve been made that’ll affect the fit.
