Hi. It seems like you need a good external sound card such as in Creative's E-MU's 0404 USB 2.0 Audio/MIDI Interface.

This product comes with the E-MU Production Tools Software Bundle that includes E-MU's Proteus VX, as well as software by Cakewalk, Steinberg, Ableton, IK Multimedia, and many more.

With this product you get most of what you need to create, record, edit and master your music. Just plug in your microphone (with pop filter), speakers (monitors), MIDI interfaced keyboard and then attach it to your computer.

Hope that helps.
References :
http://us.store.creative.com/0404-USB-2.0/M/B000IXNE3E.htm

It looks like you are at a good start. Make sure to have some software that works well with audio (Samplitude Music Studio 14 is a Good one) . So with your mic make sure to get stands. Also get a shock absorber and a pop filter for the microphone. They both make the audio much better. I thinks that's it. Contact if you need further information.
