    For those looking …
For those looking to buy monitors for mixing, you need nearfield monitors (reference monitors). These are generally small, need to be seated correctly and positioned towards the user correctly too. There’s no point buying them though if you don’t treat the room acoustically for reflexions because $1000 monitors in an untreated room will sound like $10 ones. A subwoofer should only be added if you know what you’re doing (rather than think it) otherwise it will make mixing ten times worse.

    below 20hz you feel …
below 20hz you feel, that’s 20 cycles per second and is very very low subbass. most recordings may not even have any info present below this threshold, few monitors can reproduce it accurately. 20,000hz is 20khz, the very upper limit of our hearing – the ‘air’ and ‘presence’ area of sound that only young ears can hear (as we get older our hearing deteriorates down to our 18khz or lower)

you can buy the RODE NT-5 twing pack. its around $400 – 500. and use them for the guitar. you dont need a amp in youre gutar. its actually better to use another mic to record it.
then get another mic to youre vocals.
