Any tips and help on a home recording studio?

Author: I’m 13 and am thinking about making a home studio to record audio. so what i would like to know is what is good and affordable way to do this and what would i need? like what kind of microphone would i want to record audio and what is a gud program that i can use to make beats. Please and thank you.
Audacity is a terrific, multi-track, FREE audio recording software. Just Google for it. As to a microphone, unless you have a mixer, just get a USB mic for ~$30 or so and run directly into your PC.
