so im running a xenyx802 mixer through the bacis uca202 soundcard. If recording electric guitar, do you find it better th run through a direct box or go directly through an amp? THe person im recording for has a nice 30 watt tube amp.

wat r u doing? thats what u have to ask. if its anywhere from a solo acoustic track to a band in ur garage “drums, 2 guitars, 1 bass, and vocals” u’ll be fine once u get in to live recording ur going to need to upgrade
