I grew up in Chicago during the birth of house music. This is the derivative crap we saw in commercials when house music became an internationally recognized genre years later. I recommend this guy listens to Theo Parrish if he wants to get an idea of contemporaries true to the soul of house . In the video Chris says something about not wanting a part to be totally obvious…my response would be that the whole track is. Nice setup tho.
