what is some good music recording software for Windows?

Author: I’m looking to record my songs and i know that the Mac software is good but what about Windows. I use Windows XP on my computer. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
I would suggest FL Studio, if you are looking to buy. It is professional music software. You can record in with midi and many other things.
