Can you recommend good music recording software?

I’m looking for something that won’t cost in the hundreds of dollars. (Maybe $100 give or take, if it is worth it.) Any ideas how much memory, processor speed I would need?

I have used this and made my CD. I then sent it e-mail to

where they pressed it for free and then you can order one or 1000 for $2.00 each. When you get it back it is stroe shelf ready. And you don’t have to order them all at once you can order them as you need them and they usualy ship same day

Music Match has a great program. There is even a free version of it. I have used it for years with great success.

It rips, burns & organizes your music collection.

Go here to learn about it – http://www.musicmatch.com/

Memory and processor speed are not even an issue. It isn’t a resource hog.

If you are talking about actually recording YOURSELF playing music (rather than organising your CD collection), then try something like Cakewalk Home Studio or Cubasis VST Lite, they shouldnt cost too much, provided you have a reasonable PC (800mhz or better), and 256MB RAM you should be ok
