    Using an amp (if it’s Electric/Electric-Acoustic) and us a cord that is half amp jack and half headphone sized. Put the amp jack into either the headphone hole of your amp or the line in hole. Then use the headphone sized one and plug it into the mic hole of your computer. I don’t know the proper term-anology for anything. I hope that made sense to you!

    It helps greatly to have a midi keyboard to play the virtual instruments but it is not entirely necessary, and you don’t need to be able to play it well at all to make music.
    Electronic music can and usually is made in this way without any recorded instruments at all.

    but I really want to learn how to use music software like Apples Logic, but do you need to you actual instruments? Or are there like virtual instruments in the software that you just use and mix? If you want to make music, can you do it using only the software?
