Im starting a home recording studio and i need some input?

Hey, well soon i will be puchesing some equiptment for home recording. im pretty sold on the stuff so thats not what im asking, but i will be using programs like krystal and reaper and maybe protools so i want to know some tips and tricks to make a song really enjoyable, and sound like professional, also tips and tricks on voice correction and how to really make a singers voice sound good and what they(as in proffesional studios) do to make them sound good.

I hope you go with ProTools since they are the most marketable and have the most resources for help. One of the market’s best secrets is Melodyne. Not many people know about it, but it gives me the best results. It’s a little harder to operate, but it offers the most flexibility and sound.
