Did you go to a school to learn everything you need about recording/recording studio?

    To set up …
To set up lightpipes, usually called ADAT, you need to get an audio interface similar to products like the MOTU 2408, presonus or m audio that have at least 3 ports that take and send out 8 channels each. Secondly your D8b needs to have installed 3 separate ADAT cards and then finally lightpipe cables long enough to transmit the signal. The rest is setup in your DAW and also within the D8b’s internal routing options. I hope this helps you.

Well I hope you mean sick in a good kinda way. They are Tannoy reveal 5 actives and do a very wholesome job in terms of high and mid frequency response during referencing. With the exception of my Mackie HR624′s, I now use mackie’s tapco s8′s, tapco s5′s and the subwoofer also on Logic and the HR624 and the Hr120 sub on my pro tools for post production. I don’t feel drawn to the KRK series. I HAVE BECOME USED TO WHAT I HAVE.
    Cheers.

I’m about to put up a video about portable location recording. Make sure you watch it. I do record & transfer to my DAW with the same settings & no change at all. You must be recording where sound seems to be escaping into your mic via surrounding noises. Isolation is key to eliminating this kind of trickery. You need to set your unity levels on both your DAW and your mixer to 0 and then ride your gains gently with least interference but with gentle audible output. Check ur headohone levels also.
