Thank you so much for this reviews! It’s helpful in deciding which mic to get. I am getting Rode NT1A .. and probably going to get the interface you have.
Did you record your voice via the set up that you were describing? I have heard other people’s recordings with Rode NT1a and their sounds were more condensed than what I heard from this video.

@DangerousMusicProd You get a usb cable with the mbox2 mini to connect it to your computer and then you have to use an XLR male to female to connect the condenser microphone to the mbox 2 mini, you may get an XLR cable with your mic but with the RODE NT1A I had to buy one for about £6/$10 (:

@Chicago10281 One thing about the AKG microphones that alot of people don’t tell you, is that in order to get a highly exceptional sound out of them, your going to want to get a good channel strip. You can get a decent sound out of AKG mics but make sure your in a sound-dead area, cause they’ll pick up the dust off the floor if it could speak.

I have never used a Samson G-Track USB Interface mic but I have been told that it makes a grat microphone for voice overs or anything like that. Samson Mics (USB) are brilliant, they are very cheap and also give off a great finished sound for such a cheap product! However, I have used an AKG! These are great microphone’s for live performances and recorded. Neumann’s are my FAVOURITE mics over all, However They are expensive (:
