What is a good music recording software for recording multiple tracks at home?

Something like Garage band, but for windows.
i just wanna use my acoustic guitar and microphone for vocals.

DubTurbo is similar to Garage band and has more features.

How to hear background in audio recording clearly?

I recorded an audio of me and my friends talking. One of my friends is a bit in the background and you can’t hear her quite clearly. Is there anyway I can make the background audio clearer or isolate the rest of the voices so I can hear what shes saying clearly?

fraps is a good software that records stuff that uses opengl or directx

Both work fine but i’d prefer the first option because USB mics tend to have alot of latency (delay when recording) and that can cause problems but the sound quality will still be fine.
