Is it possible that someone can download a emailed digital tape recording to their digital tape recorder?

Author: I want to email a tape recording of something to someone so that they can hear it, but be able to download it to their digital tape recorder to play it, because it is very long (20 hours) and I don’t want to disturb the integrity of it. I would like to send it to The Media. Is that possible?
Why not play it on their computer?
They can play it on their recorder only if it recognizes and plays back the format of your recorder.
You can send it as an attachment.
