MM3 STUDIOS

I bought a digital tape recorder and the man at radioshack told me that if my computer is compatable I could play the recorder and it would automatically type what was being said onto my computer. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? What is it called and how does it work?
no he did not give me any information on software. all he said is that the recorder has this capability. but didnt give any more info.

Did the guy at Radio Shack include the necessary voice recognition software?
