We are recording our first song. We need a recording software that will let us record each seperate instrument, then play them together. Im not paying for some bullshit software so it has to be free.

Try Audacity.

I am planning on recording some game play, typically on lesser known games, for YouTube and all, and I want to know of any good recording software I can use. I have Windows 7, and need a free one.

Anyone who wants to hate cause I’m doing what tons of others do, why bother and waste your time, just go do something else.

You can use a free version of "Fraps", but it leaves a small watermark on the footage.
Otherwise, I recommend WeGame. Very similar to fraps and Xfire. I’ve included the link to the website below.

hi I want to record and show off my hamachi server but jingo and camtwist and those free softwares make the video lag sooo much. I need a vide recording software for mac that is 100%free (no trials) and records minecraft without any lag. if you have the answer please post. thank you

I just recently purchased the Blue Snowflake microphone for recording my classes and taking notes while using one note. However, I’m thinking I want to use different applications for other projects I can use this mic for. What is a good audio recording software for recording mostly spoken word?

try audacity or sourceforge.com they have tons and tons of free downloads.

Is there a good open source recording software for 3-5 networked IP cameras? Where can one download these software?

I had to install a security camera system a few years ago, when the G/F’s Daughter started bring in a thieving bunch of people. I installed a dlink system and the software they sent with it could handle, if i remember correctly, input from 12 different cameras. Go to the Dlink site and see if you can download it.

I need to know what the best voice recording software is to make voice demos.

I just bought a CAD studio microphone, and I was wondering what is the best recording software? I don’t need anything fancy, because as of now all i want to do is rap over instrumentals and beats. I was also wondering how would you would censor words with the software? Thanks i’m really stuck!

I want to record what i do on minecraft and possibly post a few to youtube, so it has to have good quality recording.

Hypercam2/Camstudio is a desktop screen recording program, it’s not suitable for game recording.

To record a game in high quality, you have to use DirectX hooking program like Bandicam or Fraps.

I prefer to use Bandicam because it’s free for 10 minutes, easyto use, and much less lag than others.

Also, you can upload the recorded file to YouTube without converting because the recorded file is much smaller than other software (1/20).
