In guitar hero 4 and 5 they had the ghstudio where you could create custom songs, I kept hearing they put some kind of music studio similar to that on rock band 3. is this true? and if it is true how much better is the new music studio?

No, that music studio thing in GH4/5 is total crap (if you disagree, then you just don’t know any better).

Instead, Harmonix released a developer’s kit so people could actually create Rock Band versions of their REAL recordings. Check out http://www.rockband.com/rock-band-network for more information.

what is the best studio/music recording app on the app store.
And is there any that let you upload instrumentals from your ipod music library?

I have found that groove maker is a good one

Untill I get to making an ebook on how I made this , this is my studio in a roadcase. I designed and built this mobile studio for personal music recording. I made this video to inspire others that they too can make this very useful midi studio aswell. This a Protools (Mbox2Pro) set up with an Apple Macbook 2hz. It works fantastic. Within this roadcase are my Yamaha Hs40 studio monitors, my microphones and their stands..generally all I’ll need to record crystal clear music . Inside as well I have installed a 1 TB hardrive.

I’m starting up a music studio, but I’m also looking to move my filmmaking outside of class and setting it up on the same computer if possible, could a Macbook pro handle both good though? As both will be dedicated and take up a lot of memory I’d assume (film is killer after all on that)

Yes it can. I am on a MacBook Pro and I do a lot of HD (4k and 1080p) video editing and MacBook Pro works fine.
