I’m looking to record some music and need some studio software. Is there any safe and free ones on the internet?

How do I make my bedroom a music studio so my music sounds professional?

Just use a pro studio. It’s WAY cheaper!

Where can I buy basic music studio equipment in the Philippines? I’m planning to build a small home studio. Where can I find pop filters, condenser or dynamic mics, sound cards,etc.?

P.S. What should be in a basic music studio equipment aside from the ones I said earlier? Thanks.

There are several good music stores here, and you won’t have a hard time looking for them since you can find them in malls. The most common would be RJ Music Center, Lyric, JB Music, Behringer.

If you are after higher-end equipment, you can go to Perfect Pitch, Audiophile, Yamaha.

As for the basic equipment, it will depend on your set-up, but the most basic you need will be:
1-Mics
2-Mixer
3-Speakers, monitors, headphones
4-PC built for audio editing (would need a high-end soundcard, CD/DVD writer. Mac or PC won’t really matter)
5-Amplifiers
6-Don’t forget the cables

i was wondering what top colleges or preferred colleges would be best to look into for opening up my own music studio and music production. i have no experience in either things but i Absolutely love music.

Belmont University, in Nashville, is considered the best for Music Technology and Music Business.
Belmont has the only TAC/ABET-accredited degree in Audio Engineering Technology.

Another good school is University of Hartford, in Connecticut, with the same degree (but not yet TAC/ABET-accredited).
