What music studio software is better? Cake Walk Sonar 7 or FL studio 9?

I’m looking for an affordable and reliable music studio program. Right now I’m leaning for FL studio 9 ( fruity version) as opposed to Cake walk Sonar 7 (XL)

Help?

I think FL Studio is better and the price is reasonable. FL Studio is a full-featured, open architecture, music production environment capable of audio recording, composing, sequencing and mixing, for the creation of professional quality music. The FL Studio philosophy is creative Freedom:
Free your audio – Instruments can be routed to any mixer track.
Free your mind – Choose your preferred workflow, compose using the step-sequencer or piano roll.
Others agree with this too http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090407213748AAR4mR8

Tips for starting my own at home hip hop music studio?

I am planning to start an at home studio ..i would appreciate tips in what type of equipment i would need… mic, speakers, comp.programs, sound proofing etc. that has quality for a low price. Any tips would be appreciated thank you

welcome to my world lol

microphone- a medium quality microhone will probably run you around 100 dollars. make sure you get a STANDARD sized microphone- i got a large one, and it made things a little bit more complicated lol. a good microphone when you’re mobile isn’t always a good microphone when you’re standing in one place.

mic stand- cheaper the better lol, since all it does is stand there. probably run you around 30 bucks.

mic holder- if your mic doesn’t come with one, around 15 dollars

pop filter- 15 to 30 bucks- I CAN’T STRESS HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS. PERIOD.

shock mount- not as much a necessity, depending on where you’re recording.

speakers- not REALLY a necessity if you’re only recording. if you have some larger speakers you can connect to your computer, they should do the trick.

programs- i use audacity. look it up. you can probably get a pirated acidpro also.

sound proofing can get rediculous, you can either put blankets on your walls, or you can buy the real stuff, which is about 100 dollars for 8×8 ft. of soundproof foam.

also, try out http://homerecording.com for additional details.

How much is it to sing in a music studio?

how much does it usually cost to use a studio in New York?

a 1000$? really? wow. that crazy.
but i still kinda doubt it cost that much.

I’m building a music studio. What advice can I give my architect at this early stage?

We’re building a new house and I’ll have a room for making music. The architect has asked for some guidance on characteristics of the room and I’d like to send her in the right direction. What should I tell her?

if your going to play live drums, insulate the walls with dense foam.
If your going to mainly record and use an electronic kit, you don’t have to do much except build a relatively sound proof vocal booth.

How can I move ACID Music Studio projects and downloaded loops from my mom’s desktop comuter to my laptop?

they’re PCs if that helps. i want to be able to work on my music from my computer instead of my moms so does anybody know how to transfer my projects?

Copy the project files from where they’re stored on the desktop computer to a USB stick, and then copy them from the stick into a folder on the laptop.

What is a good home music studio software?

I am trying to start a home studio and I need some suggestions on a good software package.

I use N Track Studio and Quartz.
N Track costs 45 bucks, Quartz is free.
I actually use Qyartz more than Ntrack, but N Track has some effects I like better.
