Audacity isnot that good, i want to find some type of software that is good, with clear sound, and good effects. I am just starting to record music.

Can someone please help me find a good, free music recording software – (not a demo). Please help!!

It’s not what you use but how you use it..
If you can’t get a good clear sound with Audacity you won’t get it with anything else.
If I can use it to record quick multi-track band demos you should get good results too.

I am currently using WavePad Sound Editor and it records at different times or something because when I mix my recordings they’re all out of timing and I know it isn’t my timing. I need a dependable recording program to record my songs with that’s also 100% free.

I am currently writing a song and i am playing each instrument myself. I need a recording software so i can record each instrument seperately then play it all together to make a good song. Do you know any FREE music recording softwares i can use so i can write a song? I tried audacity but the timng wasnt that good. I want a better one than that but it has to be FREE

I’d say for free, yeah, Audacity is pretty much one of the best. Plus, your computer most likely can’t handle anything more than that anyway.

I’m a musician who writes music. I don’t have any recording equipment nor the money to spend on that kind of stuff. Can anyone recommend software I can download or buy that will let me TAB out the music I write and let me add in digital instruments that will play back to me what I TAB out? I know it’s a cheap way to go but I don’t have a job and no money so I cant afford legit stuff.
Any recommendations would be awesome. Thanks!

you can use finale notepad its a free music notation program. if you want they have a program called finale 2010 but its about 600 dollars, so if you want id go with finale notepad. heres the website:
