Does anyone know what microphone is best for audio recording on laptop? I looked for internet and somebody recommended me Plantronics DSP-400 with noise cancelling, it’s using USB connection and has soundcard in it. I plan to make audio tutorial therefore I need a good microphone that can record my sound clearly. Does anyone has another recommendation what microphone should I buy or maybe someone has experience creating audio tutorial and succeed in recording clear voice? Need recommendation please…

I’m planning to upload my creations in soundclick… But I have no idea how to add my voice into the intrsumental… Does anyone know how? And does anyone know of any voice-recording software? Because windows’s built-in Soud Recorder records only about 60 secs…

I have a music studio and i have user names in log in to the system how do i deny access on a particular profile in printing and copy music.pls i need explanation on how to go about it.

If it is even possible to deny access to certain features in the program you should be able to pull up a user profiles type of screen. This should reveal the ability to deny access to printing and copying.

If not, then it probably is not possible to do what you want to do.

me and ma bestfriend have been rapping for a while now, and we want to record our music but studio time is too expensive and we want to record whenever we feel like it. People have been saying that all we need is basic recording software on our computer, a high quality usb mic. and a pop filter. is that all we need to record. please help thanxxxx

I am a singer and play piano and sing. I currently have audacity but it is really crappy and I now have money to buy some software. Any suggestions for software, brands or stores for me?

there are quite a few out there, pro tools 7 is probably the best, but you need to by the harddrive that comes with it so it will work. i personally like adobe audition 3, its simple and straight forward. theres also sony acid pro 6 which is probably my second favorite. sony sound forge 9 is alright depending on what kind of eq you want to do. fruity loops 8 is a nifty tool as well, you can record as well as create your own songs using the built in instruments on the program. theres some others like cubase, cakewalk, and guitar tracks pro. ive never used any of those personally. all of these run around 100 bucks or better. if you are feeling cheap there is a program called audacity that is pretty straightforward. just google it and its a free download.

I want this to be transferred from tape to computer in the best possible quality.
To clarify, I want to directly transfer the footage on my tapes to my computer, not go from tape to vcr and then to computer.

Basically what you would need is a DVD recorder that transfers VHS onto a DVD/CD

I just upgraded to Windows 7 and I do YouTube Tuts but my old recording software dose not work in 7. Dose anyone know of one that will?

Camtasia 6 or 5 will work i use it but i dont make tuts any more or hypercam you can download them for free at [katz . cd]

If I have gatherings in my home and people are recorded on them and they know they are recorded, do I need permission from them to share with others? What are the laws?

The only case that you have to share that video with others if you have to prove in defense of yourself that something illegal was done. I would not get into sharing these for personal reasons. That is the law.
