Here is a video about how to make a great sounding recording studio on a low budget. I replaced all my professional equipment with my original low budget recording equipment (what I started with). If you have any questions, post below and I will try and make a video or something for you. To check out my voice over services, go to www.JoBoVoiceOvers.com

Music recording software…Do it from computer or send only voice to editing place to put music on the track?
I wanna start in the music industry rap punkrock and hip/hop but i don’t know if I should download software to edit my voice to make it equaled out and sound better (No experiance in that) or send in my voice with no music or beats and have someone else edit and add beats?
you can try downloading Audacity, it will allow you to change to pitch of your voice and you can mix music together and other kool stuff. enjoy!
What digital camera would you suggest for recording a low budget film?
It’s an extremely low budget movie.
I would like to use a digital camera to record it because digital cameras are obviously cheaper and easier to use.
Should I record a movie with a digital camera or would it look to cheap? If I can, what digital camera would you suggest? If you say no to the digital camera idea, what other camera should I use (that’s low-priced preferrably)?
What is extreme low budget? It would have been really helpful if you could have told us how much you budgeted for equipment. Trying use a digital camera with video capability is going to give you very crappy and shaky video with even crappier sound. If you want the best audio possible with decent video (640 x 480) then I would recommend the Samson Zoom Q3 Handy Video Recorder for about $250.00. This little device has a professional level stereo microphone so you will capture great audio. If you are looking at something with HD capability then I would recommend the Sanyo Xacti VPC-TH1 for about $230.00. The Sanyo will give you more flexibility and better picture (720p) with decent sound. Trying to spend less $250.00 for equipment to record even a low budget film will result in totaly wasted video and sound. You also have to remember time is money and after spending all that time and effort shooting the film you end with really crappy video and sound…..well you do the math.
Need and audio recording program that will record anything played and just as clear?
I’m using the magix audio trial program and since it’s trial I can’t export the audio after i’m finished editing it. The problem is, i already did lots of editing to the audio nd I don’t want to do it again. So I was thinking I could use an audio recording program to record the sound coming from the magix audio program (and be just as clear as it would be on magix audio.
Whats the best program to do this? Thanks!
use Audacity. It is a really good free program. There is also an MP3 plugin too which lets you save MP3′s. It is well worth it, and easy to use.
Whats the best free download of recording software?
I need free (not free trial) recording software for my computer. Whats the best program and whats it called?
I use Audacity which is free and it helps me with all my recording needs.
You should be more specific though; are you looking for audio or video?
What’s the best mic stand to get for home recording?
I’ve been looking on musiciansfriend.com for microphone stands for a home recording studio, and all the mixed feelings about the stands are beginning to confuse me. Some people had good experiences with their stand, others said it was cheap and broke the day after they got it. I’m afraid to buy something cheap.
Anyone have any good suggestions?
This is a great stand:

You’ll notice that it is more money than the cheap stands – it is really heavy duty and will last a long time.
Pop filter – they all will work great:
